Never trust a GPS timing... it took me almost half an hour to get from one side of beverly hills to Paulette!

Coming from San Diego, this had better be worth all the hype. Instantly, I was thrown off by the size of the macaroons especially given their price!

But I settled upon the following:

Carribean Chocolate - wow, probably my favorite one of all of them. just the right balance of chocolate ganache.

Columbian Coffee - not too bad, didn't stand out too much in flavor but nonetheless delicious.

Madagascar Vanilla - needed more vanilla taste

Caramel - the caramel tasted different, still undecided to be honest.

Violet Cassis - my daring moment, didn't pay off. I wasn't too crazy about this despite being open to the idea.

Peanut Butter - not bad, just forgettable, like i literally don't remember eating this!

Now that I've finally eaten the macaroons here, I can say it was alright. Photos are misleading people, they look larger than they really are. Service was efficient so no complaints from me. I would've preferred a larger macaroons to satisfy my man-sized appetite and wallet.

I love their Macaron~ very tasty and great to try once a while... just little bit pricey...

I found out about this place when I recently filmed a TV segment about mini-desserts and boy am I glad I did! The owner Paulette gave me a free box and while I thought I'd save the box til i got home to share, I had pretty much eaten all 12 of the little macaroons by the time I got there! The absolute best flavor is the WEDDING CAKE -- delish with crunchy little almond pieces on top. I used to think Boule was the best in town (their lavender flavor is still tops, but those are seasonal so you can't always get them) but I think Paulette might be my new fave. The macaroons here (which is all they do) are second only to those at the Delano in Miami ... so unless ur planning on heading to South Beach, these will certainly do!
