It Should be Named Patient Last
While the reception staff and nurses are average, the office manager and Dr. Scott are among the worst I have ever encountered. After Dr. Scotts office provided the wrong birth date, social security number, and cause of injury to my insurance company, the insurance company refused payment because they could not identify me as their member based on the erroneous information provided by Patients First. When I called Dr. Scott's office to correct the information, I was transfered to his office manager. She was rude and refused to admit that they had made any mistake or to cooperate with me. Resolution of the matter took far too long and required that I review each entry which they made on the insurance form with both Patient First and my insurance company. Dr. Scott was uncooperative and abruptly refused to treat me for future conditions. When I called his office to ask why he had sent such a strongly worded letter and was refusing to treat me further (he had been my primary care physician), my call was quickly transfered to his office manager. She again was rude and told me that they were under no obligation to treat any patient and that if I needed urgent care to find a county hospital which would not be allowed by law to turn me away. According to her, his office terminates approximately one patient per month and they never give a reason and retain an attorney for purposes of handling complaints by their former patients. This was clearly an attempt at intimidation. Prior to refusing to treat me, Dr. Scott had ordered a series of serological tests and had been or was about to be consulted by a specialist, whom I had seen for a related illness. Dr. Scott's termination of the physician patient relationship, prevented me from receiving timely information regarding the tests and negatively impacted the specialists ability to treat me. While this behavior may be legal in Kentucky, it is unacceptable and abusive treatment of those who are in need of care.

Very nice by Lori W. at InsiderPages
I have been a patient here for about as long as I've lived in this town, and the doctors, nurses, receptionists, and nurse practitioners are very friendly.
