An Old Fan
I remember when this place opened in the old grocery store bui;lding as "Frank and Pat's Pizza Place. It was the pizza against which all others are measured ... even today! In town for a class reunion, I invited a friend for pizza at the old place, now appropriatelty called "Cranky Pat's'. We ordered a large thin crust pizza with "the works". As we waited we anticipated the taste we remembered that made "Frank and Pat's". The pizza took a long time to arrive ... longer than at Pizza Hut, which always seemed rediculous to me. When our pizza finally arrived, it was a major disappointment. The crust was charred and the burnt taste overpowered the flavor of the cheese and toppings. If there was any of the old spices sprinkled on as in the old days, they weren't apparent. The pizza was pricey and yet diodn't measure up to most frozen supermarket varieties. If you remember the Frank and Pat's of the past, you will be disappointed by the Cranky Pat's pizza today ...l What a shame!!!!
