I figured a specialty party store would have the best selection and lowest prices on party supplies than any other store. I was wrong.
This place kind of blows. Plastic wine glasses and beverage pitchers were way overpriced. Plastic silverware - cheaper at Walgreen's. The pinatas - no prices on any of them, so the first one I picked was $25 (for something I'm going to destroy? no thanks!). Half the aisles were empty.
I finally get up to the check-out and find a woman yelling at the cashier because she was standing there forever. . . my experience with customer service wasn't much better.
Signs all oevr the store proclaimed 50% off all printed plates and napkins. The ones I picked up were priced at $8.50, which I assumed meant they were $4.25 with the discount. The cashier and manager tried to tell me that $8.50 WAS the half off price. I'm sorry buddy, I am not spending $17 on 50 paper plates! Eventually they gave in and gave me the discount.
I also picked up a candle with the Big Bird humping the number 1 from the clearance aisle, just as a joke, because it was 50 cents. I got home and looked and the receipt and realized I'd been charged $4!
There's got to be better party supply stores than this.
