Parnassus Heights is a podiatry office, not a D.O. So if anyone is looking to get that sort of treatment they should look up doctors under D.O. Do you go to a hair stylist and then expect a massage?? Podiatrists are foot and ankle surgeons, and of course if there is anything wrong with the foot, either a conservative treatment such as orthotic or taping would be tried and when that option is exhausted, an invasive treatment is suggested. Dont be bitter about the practice if you were looking for aroma therapy and picked a very well known podiatric office by mistake.

I was generally disappointed by the disinterest in holistic medicine that I was shown on 3 visits to this practice. Foot problems are often symptums of other problems in the body (e.g. misalignment, weakness, etc). Not only did they not approach the problem with this in mind by asking questions, they were not interested when I shared my thoughts on what could potentially be causing the problem. If you need an orthotic "patch" or invasive surgery go here. If you need your problem addressed holistically, seek out a physical therapist or Dr. of osteopathy.

I visited this podiarty group and saw Dr. Gerbert. he is an excellent doctor. He is friendly and has a good bedside manner. He is always very knowlegable about his specality and told me some grat hints on how to make my foot feel better. I was very comfortable in the clinic. And Amy, the receptionist, was really friendly.
