STRONGLY ADVISE AGAINST USING THIS DENTIST! First appt on 8/25/06 for routine cleaning. Told I need 2 fillings (cavities) and also told would be good candidate for ZOOM Whitening. I have a chipped tooth and my tooth has bonding on it to cover up the chip. Dr. PARKE told me that she could re-do the bonding after I ZOOM and that she could match my other teeth. I was sold! 10-19-06, I show up for the Zoom only to find the hygienist setting me up for the Zoom. She was fumbling her way through the procedure and kept excusing herself to go across the hall to ask questions or emailing the next room for assistance. It was obvious to me that she didn't seem confident in what she was doing. I aked her whether she had done this procedure before & she answered that it was a very very long time ago and never @ Dr. Parke, but she patted me on the shoulder and said it would be okay. After the procedure the hygienist told me that my teeth looked really spotty and then the original person that actually does the ZOOM in the office came in my room & told me to bleach with trays for 3 days to even out the affect. The next day I called and spoke to Dr. Parke and voiced my disappointment. She told me that she was unaware that the hygienist had not performed the ZOOM in a long time and joked that I should be glad that they hygienst did my Zoom and not her because she never does the ZOOM on people and it could have been a worse experience for me. On 11/3 Dr. Parke re-did my bonding. SHE WAS UNABLE TO MATCH THE BONDING ON FRONT TOOTH AFTER ZOOM & NOW IT LOOKS LIKE A BIG GLOB OF BONDING ON THE CORNER OF MY FRONT TOOTH. IT LOOKS TERRIBLE. I am scheduled to see a highly recommended Cosmetic Dentist that assures me that he can custom blend the bonding to match my other teeth. HENCE, AVOID DR. STEPHANIE PARKE IF YOU NEED BONDING OR ZOOM WHITENING.
