I had a couture wedding dress that I wanted to use for my own wedding. It had been worn once by someone else for only a few hours and was supposedly "professionally dry-cleaned". I tried iton in low lights at home and saw no stains or problems. When I needed to make alterations as my wedding day was vastly approaching (in 6 weeks), I noticed (under fluorescent light) multiple stains on the front bodice and train of what looked like water marks or yellowing. Although it was hard to see in some light, it was very noticeable in fluorescent light!!! I took it to TWO other cleaners who did not want to even TRY and get the stains out because the dress was so delicate (a special silk/satin material) and they just sent me on my way. Unexpectedly I just tried Paragon and Taline was there who did everything in her power to try and get the yellowed stains (probably left from the previous cleaner who tried to remove make-up and dirt along the train) out by using wet cleaning...although it took some of the luster out of the dress, I was just so happy that she got it out in the bodice where it would show in all of my pictures! She did such a wonderful job trying her hardest to make my dream dress wearable!! She gave me options just in case it didn't work and she even offered to find me a seamstress to make a lace little jacket or vest to cover up some of the bodice!!! This place had GREAT service and they really work hard and go to great lengths to help out their customers! I will NEVER go to another dry cleaners again!!!!

I was really hessitant to try this place after reading Diana's review, but since they are environmentally friendly and closest to my work, I thought I'd try them anyway. ...

nice enough and friendly enough folk, stains were cleaned to my satisfaction (most imp thing to me after horrible exp right across the street at another space), but price kinda high. worth it for some items, not sure for all everyday stuff. understand price due to enviro practices, etc., so if imp to you, this is the place for you too!

I visited them three times in the passed month. The staff is friendly and helpful. Has a nice family feel. The tailors were great!

On my last visit I had spilled red wine on my silk dress and they got it out! A great experience.

I was in search of a new dry cleaners when I saw the eco-friendly sign outside of Paragon. I decided one day to give them a shot and ws less than thrilled with the $4.25 minimum for shirts, but I HAD to get a few items cleaned. Also, they gave me a $10 off any $30 order coupon which seemed promising.

When I went to pick up my 4 items the total was more than $22!! My cotton shirt with a basic soup spill cost $6.75 to clean - it hardly cost that much at the outlet store I bought it at. They said the extra charge for that, and another shirt I'd worn ONCE and wasn't really dirty, was that it needed de-linting, an extra charge of $1. I had not asked for this and when I complained they ignored me, saying I must have a messy dog or cat - I have neither and stay away from them because I am allergic. You'd think they might make an effort to work with a new customer but they were only combative.

I can't say the actual dry cleaning was actually any better than the local anonymous $2 per piece spot, so I will NOT be going back, and I wanted to warn everyone else before they get conned by this place as well.
