I have been shopping at Panache for a couple of years now, and I love It! The clothes are GREAT, and the prices are also! The owner is always very friendly and eager to help you. Everything I have ever bought from Panache, I have always received many compliments on.

i live in the area and love to take my walks. i have stopped by many times into this trendy little boutique and have never experienced anything negative like the comments i've just read below. yes, the music was very loud and not of my liking...however, it gave it's own personality. everytime i've shopped there the employees are friendly and very helpful. i get complimented often from friends and strangers with the items i've purchased at panache boutique.
i recommend a visit if youre in the river oaks/montrose area!!

I have been into panache many times, and have always had many wonderful experience with the owner, and the staff at panache. I am so surprised to read the first few comments. The clothes they carry are extremely
affordable, and CUTE!!! They also have special ordered items for me very quickly. I also feel very comfortable
when I purchase something from Panache that I'm not going to see tons of people all over houston with the same thing!

I had a very similar experience as the review above. I have been into Panache 2 times, and both times, the owner was on the phone having an argument with a friend. She stayed on the phone the entire time, and never offered to assist me at all. I showed myself the dressing room, and couldn't believe how unprofessional she was being. At the checkout, i asked if it was her store and she said yes, she was the owner. On my second visit to the store (last week), i was double charged for my purchase on my credit card. I have tried calling, but the number listed is no longer in service, so i will have to pay a visit in person to dispute the double charge.
On the positive side, there were a few cute things to be found. But, i don't think this store will be around in the long run.

This was my first time in this store that looks very inviting from the street. I was anxious to go, but immediately regretted it once I stepped in. The only salesperson was talking obnoxiously loud on her own cell phone trying to convince a guy to go out with her that night. Being a retail salesperson myself, I was appalled at how unprofessional she was. By looking at the pictures on the wall I can assume she was either the owner or manager, which was evening more shocking. I browsed around the store for a good ten minutes while she had yet to say anything to me at all, and this boutique is very small. I also was the only one in there so there was no excuse she couldnt of welcomed me. I told her I would like to try some of the merchandise on and she just pointed to the dressing rooms. If I hadnt of fallen in love with one item I would of walked out without buying anything so as not to contribute any sales to her. After she got off the phone she cranked up the music to an unnerving volume. The whole experience was awful and I wont be coming back, even if I did think the place had some cute items. But Houston has many more boutiques that offer superior service and the same, if not better, merchandise where you can actually enjoy the buying experience. My guess is they wont be on West Gray long with the type of sales people they have..maybe the shop was empty for a reason!
