Lots of food by Kelly J. at InsiderPages
The Pak Inn has lots of different foods to choose from, not just Chinese. I am not a big fan of Buffet's but my family and I love to eat here whenever we go to Palm Desert. They have delicious crab legs, but make sure you grab them while they are out.. they disappear fast!

Cheap and nasty
While not expecting gourmet oriental food from a buffet, I did not expect the attrocious cuisine I had at the Pak Inn Buffet. The temperature of much of the food left a lot of basic hygene regulations in the trash. Lukewarm reheated egg drop soup got us off to a bad start, the toughest beef ribs in the world followed, accompanied by suspect looking chicken and beef dishes that in every case looked better than they tasted. Never again.

Lots Of Good Food
Some of the food is great and some is ok but with such a LARGE selection of food the only problems you'll have are deciding what to eat and maybe eating too much, the price is right $9 dinner $5 kids, the place is clean and well run, dessert selection could be better.

My first trip to Pak Inn was good. Lots of food, but after a while, seems everything tastes the same, some of it pretty greasy. Good value for the very hungry. But if you are looking for interesting, tasty Chinese food, best to go elsewhere. It's a buffet with a wide assortment of meats, fish and vegetable dishes. During my second visit, it seemed like the food was sitting under hot lamps for a while and everything tasted rather bland and oily.

PROS: Quantity, not Quality
CONS: Not a lot of contrasting flavors

Very inexpensive and Yummy! all you can eat buffet . The food is fresh and replenished continually. Tons of different things to choose from. Nothing fancy as far as decor or atmosphere goes, but who cares with the food as good as it is.
