Pacifica Del Mar is a great restaurant with amazing views and a great setting. The views are absolutely spectacular.
They have great seafood. I most recently enjoyed a great seared ahi salad for a business lunch and it was delicious. They also have great calamari, dungeness crab cakes, Japanese hamachigood. They also have good steaks and pasta but I always go for the seafood. This is a hot spot and it can get crowded for dinner especially spring thru summer. Recommendations are highly recommened.

Pacifica is great. We went for lunch and sat outside on the patio. The view is absolutely amazing! The service is great, our waitress made great recommendations on drinks and food, all of which we loved. The seared ahi sandwich was delicious! We went for a birthday and the dessert is scrumptious! The Creme Brulee with bananas on top was the best i've had in very long time. I would actually go back for just dessert, it was that good :) Pacifica is on the higher end side since it is in Del Mar but would recommend for any occasion. Can't wait to go back again.

I took my girlfriend to Pacifica Del Mar for the first time. If you go when the sun is setting and you sit outside, the view is beautiful. They have an outdoor patio overlooking the ocean as well as inside seating. Their seafood dishes are extremely delicious, you can't really go wrong with anything.

Although I have not tried it, their happy hour bar menu looks delicious, and very affordable. If you decide to check out Pacifica Del Mar, be sure to sign up for their members club, where you will receive discounts and accumulate points based on how much you spend there for more future discounts!

My boyfriend and I also love coming to Pacifica Del Mar for dinner on good, sunny days. The restaurant is tucked inside a little shopping mall and it overlooks the Pacific Ocean. It's really nice when the sun is setting!

The food here is really brilliant, I think we've tried some different dishes, and they don't disappoint at all! The service here is amazing and I always feel catered to.

Whenever we come for dinner, I notice that their bar is always packed with people there for happy hour. They must have a great Happy Hour deal because so many people come here and their food looks great! I have yet to try it.

I think one of the the things that I liked about Pacifica Del Mar is that if you sign up to be their member (or something like that), you receive updates and emails, and I believe we even got a gift certificate with $25 to use the next time that we came. It was really great!

This restaurant epitomizes San Diego gastronomy to me: great location, mediocre food. I agree with all of the other reviewers that the view is fantastic and on a sunny day you can see the ocean, but there are such better options if you care about what you are eating. The bar scene consists of good looking people if you are over the age of 40 and desperate. I have been here three times over the last two years and will not be returning. The restaurant is obviously too big for what the panicked owner can handle. The only redeeming factor was the very friendly bar staff.
