Pacific Coast Grill fondly called PCG by its fans is hands down my favorite restaurant in North County San Diego. They have been around as long as I can remember and have a great reputation for super high quality food and service in a really nice atmosphere. They have a nice outside patio, a cool bar and great tables inside. One of my favorite features is that they allow you to bring your dog to the patio area which is rare in this town. They have a great Happy Hour Menu and their calamari is my favorite. The service is always really great. This is a great place for a date, business meeting or to even eat alone. <br />

BEST truffle fries! Pretty much everything on the menu is bomb! LOVE their tuna sandwich, the fries, calamari, sea bass, meatloaf, the list goes on and on. And the service is great too - the entire staff is super friendly and nice and they do a great job! Outdoor seating is very popular and I would definitely recommend the happy hour. See ya there!

Most important: food and service are great.

I've eaten here a dozen times, and always have had a great time. You can grab drinks at the bar, do a casual, sunny lunch on the patio (bring your dog to the patio -- they even have a doggie menu!), or have a more elegant experience in the dining room.

I'm always impressed with how good all the selections are across the board.

<b> Overall:</b> Hip decor and smooth ambiance make PCG a great place to grab a dinner and drinks with friends. Their sea bass is melt in your mouth tender. The lobster tacos are famous. They also make mean martinis.<br /><br /><b>Value:</b> The prices range from high teens to low $20's. Worth ever penny.<br /><br /><b>Service:</b> Friendly and cool. If you're not sure what to order just ask, they're full of helpful suggestions.<br /><br /><b>Quality:</b> The food selection is deverse and tasty. Sea bass is my hands down favorite. <br />
