Coffee without the attitude
I drink coffee in the morning to wake up, that's all. When I go for coffee, I shouldn't be required to learn another language just to order the size cup I want.
Nor do I like getting attitude from the staff. At Java Jones in San Diego's East Village, you don't have to order in a "made up" language.
You can say small, medium, or large when you order and you won't be treated like an idiot.
The staff is friendly and courteous, and they know you just want a coffee beverage, not humiliation. I can relax when I go to java Jones, I don't have to worry about getting attitude and I know what I'm getting when I order.
I'm not afraid to try new things at Java Jones because they start with good quality coffee beans.
I've tried lattes, cappuccinos, and mochas, and never been disappointed.
The prices are about the same as other coffee houses, but the quality is far superior, which makes this place a much better deal. Most often when I go for coffee, I'm not even a wake yet.
Needless to say, I'm not looking my very best.
And until I've consumed that first cup of coffee, I'm probably not communicating very well either.
It's as if the staff knows and understands this. There were coffee houses I've been to, gotten coffee and then left.
I didn't feel chic enough to sit among the "in crowd."
I feel totally comfortable sitting and drinking my coffee there.
It's a very laid-back crowd at java Jones. The people who go to Java Jones are there for the same reason you are, they want a good coffee beverage and they don't want to give or get attitude.
This is my favorite coffee house in San Diego and I definitely would recommend this place.
