Good bargains but beware of electronics
First time visitors on December 19th, we found several garment bargains and a Koss headset for $4.98. It had no batteries, and the store provided no way to check whether it worked. We had batteries in the car, and discovered that the headset was damaged internally. Unlike most other thrift shops that allow returns or refunds with a receipt, this place is merciless. There's a small sign saying all sales final up front, and printed on your cash register receipt, which we didn't notice. When we pointed out that the staff should check incoming donations for defects and not put lemons out for sale, the clerk just shrugged and said, Too bad. No refund.
