Without even noticing, I am now a regular at The Ould Sod. This is a great Irish pub where you can go any day of the week and either have a quiet drink or a wild fun night singing karaoke. They have something different to offer every day of the week. Monday and Wednesday you get 2 drinks at regular price and the 3rd is 25 cents, and the juke box is free. On Tuesdays several musicians go there and play Irish folk music, as you enter the bar on those nights you feel transported to another time and place. Thursday and Saturday are karaoke nights and can't say too much about Fridays or Sundays since I'm normally going to other places.

It really does feel like a community bar, you see the same local people and the bartenders are pretty cool and know a lot about sports. I think my only issue with the place is that there is only one tiny little ladie's room...it can be agonizing after a couple of drinks. Other than that, great place to go.

Aye laddies and lassies, this is THE Irish pub on Adams. Most of the bartenders are authentic brogue speakin' Irishmen. It is a full bar and they take plastic (I hate cash only places). They have an excellent selection on tap, and the cocktails are good and strong. The prices aint bad either. They do have a pretty good karaoke show on certain nights as well. My only complaint is that the Sod is freakin' tiny and can fills up real fast - the place is down right uncomfortable when it fills up to standing room only.
