I seriously cannot get enough of this place - Delicious award-winning margaritas, scrumptious food, fantastic service, amazing atmosphere ... what more can you ask for?!

hands down, my favorite mexican restaurant for food AND drinks! love the authenticity of the food with lots of flavor, and the margaritas have FRESH ingredients - yum!

Ortega 120 is an authentic Mexican food restaurant that incorporates fine dining with a familiar family style. How could anyone go wrong with this place? From the "Dia de los Muertos" decor, to the famously delicious (and award-winning) house margarita, the scent of freshly made tortillas through the air, endless chips and salsa, and a new special menu item every weekend, hand-crafted by the chef, Ortega 120 is the perfect place for family, friends and loved ones. The extensive menu is just the beginning. Ortega 120 offers anything from the traditional Mexican enchiladas, to the "Agave Nectar Salmon", a culinary masterpiece, and a completely different brunch menu on Saturdays and Sundays. (Just $10!) Don't forget the 200 plus tequilas! Ortega 120 boasts a full bar, a room entirely dedicated to Frida Khalo, and a patio with an inviting fire pit, perfect for romancing a loved one, throwing a party or chatting with friends. The live, musical melodies of the Spanish guitar on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday nights, compliment the dining experience in the Frida room. Flamenco dancers get the party started on first Fridays! Diners can unwind with $5 margaritas on Reggae Sundays to the vocal harmonies of the band, Hunter Green. Ortega 120 is not the hole-in-the-wall, Mexican food restaurant, with over-sized proportions and lack of ingenuity. The ambiance is amazing, the food is phenomenal and their tequila menu is second to none. Best mexican cuisine in SoCal.

Even though Ortega 120 is a foodie gem tucked away in Redondo Beach, my vote is definitely with them for Best Mexican Food in LA!! Not only do they have delicious and hearty food, they have the best margarita HANDS DOWN made with natural ingredients! Also, I'm in love with their Dia de los Muertos decor and I know that I am always in for a great time with every visit :) 5 STARS!
