Dog Lovers‎
We have two very large dogs and we moved to Orange so we started taking them to Dr. Black. He's very nice and so are his staff, but his prices are outrageous. He quoted us over $450 each to neuter our dogs...we found another Vet that will charge about $135 each! We're changing Vets because his prices are just too high. I also agree that they do unnecessary procedures that just shoot the prices sky high.‎

Watch your pocketbook here. Yes, the place is clean and I personally never had a bad experience with the staff or Dr. Black. However, we left a couple of years ago too because of all the unauthorized and completely unnecessary procedures, shots and treatments. In addition, if you question the treatment/s, they make you feel guilty about not doing them. I thought it was just me! My new vet retired so I happen to be looking at other options. I ran across these reviews and wish I would have read them before. If you still want to try this place out, I would HIGHLY recommend you authorize everything BEFORE it is performed and question the necessity of every procedure!‎

Don't go there....
I came in to make an appointment to see Dr. Black, and while I was there, he was very rude and obnoxious to one of his employees. It could be heard from the front. While he doesn't seem to have much compassion for his employees, ...
