After building up my 10 Gal aquarium mostly from this store I was satisfied. I believe in giving the small shops a chance and I don't mind paying more to support them. But I also expect a better service and more care from them than you would at Petco for example.
Well, don't expect any body to care for you at this place.
As long as you buy and have no problems, they are OK (never friendly though). But I recently bought some plants from this store and granted, forgot to wash them before putting them in my tank. A week later I had an explosion of ich. I went back to the store to complain and found a wall. Not only the guy didn't want to take responsability for it and treated me like a moron b/c ich can not be transmitted by plants, but he didn't care at all. He never admitted that their water could be contaminated and put everything on me and my way of taking care of my tank.

So, if you want a store to provide you with good quality fishes and plants, don't go there. It's not what it looks like and the service is terrible.

I love this store! They have a wonderful selection of fish and aquariums and all the accoutrements, and are very reasonably priced. I have found the staff to be extremely knowledgeable and helpful.
