Dr. Gavin Cohen at Optique at West Paces: Looking at some of these previous reviews has me concerned. Please understand that most Optometrists no longer perform routine vision exams. We now have the knowledge and technology to perform eye health examinations to provide you with exceptional eye care. There is however a disconnect between VISION plans and their clients. These plans will NOT cover any medical procedure or service! So if you are diabetic, have a cataract, a history of macula degeneration or are coming in for or if we diagnose you with any medical diagnosis, your VISION plan will not cover any of this. This is clearly explained in my office (everyone signs a form explaining why and what insurance will cover) and in any office offering exceptional eye care. That is what medical insurance is for. VISION coverage (for the most part) will allow you certain benefits on materials (contacts or glasses). Your medical plan also may have deductibles which may apply. I hope I have ...

I could not have wished for a better experience. They provide excellent service, use current technology, and take the time to provide a thorough exam and share the results in detail. They were very helpful in picking out frames, and they made sure I was pleased with my choice. They're friendly and very competent --I highly recommend them.
