I heard good things about this sushi restaurant but was a bit dissapointed. We had to wait about twenty minutes for a seat at the sushi bar when there were over a dozen open. The staff was really nice and friendly, the sushi chef was charming, and the sushi tasted good but unfortunately we got a light case of food poisoning. Not good on a date or any night. Not sure I'll give them another try or not.

I absolutely love, love, love coming to Ono Sushi! I consider myself a sushi snob of sorts and I definitely am satisfied with the food here, especially when you keep in mind that the population usually coming here is a college one and they do not necessarily have to keep up standards. I won't lie, the food is a little pricey, but then again what sushi joint isn't! The service is excellent and the quality of seafood is definitely unbeatable. I always bring guests from out of town here who love sushi! I definitely give this place two thumbs up!

I've been going to Ono Sushi for years, but we just took our 2 kids (2 & 4) for the first time last weekend and I was surprised by how kid-friendly they were. I never got crayons and coloring sheets at a sushi restaurant before. They provided special chopsticks for beginners and were very attentive to the kids' needs. Nice work Ono sushi!!

I recently moved to San Diego from San Francisco and was unsure of where to find a good sushi spot. I found Ono Sushi and absolutely love it! I highly recommend this place.... the food was fresh and resonable priced, the bar serves an array of martinis and their Flirtini is to die for and the lighting is perfect. I hate and avoid restaurants with bad lighting.... this is a great spot!
