I wish your store hours were more flexible for people with kids. Saturday morning is the best time to run errands. Also....didn't you have a website at one point?‎

have shopped here for years; yes the staff has changed- but still great service! best toys around!

We live in Rocky River and visit Once Upon a Time often. Yes, they did seem to go through a rough patch, but in these economic times, who didn't? I have never been treated in a way that was less than friendly and helpful, and they still have a great selection of things you can't find at mainstream stores like Target. Don't give up on them!!!

As an "insider" myself, I can tell you that management shifted NOT because the staff was getting older and wanting to retire (none were of retirement age, or really that close). I won't go into the details of that. Now that there is a new staff, the store has gone down the drain, fast. There is no customer service and what is there is terrible, no special events, etc. Why come? For overpriced toys? Bad service? I will gladly NEVER shop this store again. And if you knew the owner of the store, and how he treated his staff, you would never shop there either. I had the "pleasure" of meeting him during a special event several years ago and I was very surprised. Let's leave it at that.

Once Upon A Time Toys had a bumpy holiday season during Christmas 2007. I happen to have the inside scoop on one of the greatest toy stores in Ohio, and yes, the store did shift management last holiday season. As some of you dedicated visitors to OUAT may have noticed the previous staff was getting older and wanting to retire, so the younger generation stepped in. Literally one of the store employee's daughters picked up where she left off. Seeing as the store carries many specialty items, complex games, and overseas lines there was a pretty steep learning curve for these kids, but they have been studying all year and are ready to conquer any question you can throw at them this year! So go ahead and challenge this new bunch and see what happens...I don't think you will be disappointed ; )
