Took a box of clothes/toys/books which I didn't expect them to want it all, but they never called me. When I called to check on it, they had given me a store credit for $4 and donated the rest of my things. I don't remember what all was in there, but I do know a few things were Ralph Lauren and Tommy Hilfiger. Difficult to work with from the beginning.‎

I would buy from Once Upon Upon a Child, but NEVER EVER SELL to them again. Just like another person here, I took a box of boy and girl clothing (mostly brand name), including 3 swimsuits never worn with the tags still on, dresses with the tags, and a boys 3 piece suit with tags still on too, and a bunch of other stuff. I got 5 dollars for six "pieces" and why would they just take the shirt that went together as a set? Oh yeah, the store states that items must be clean, a lot of the merchandise I've seen has had poo, hair, throw-up, and some stuff is just plain DIRTY/NASTY. I don't understand how they can sell some of that stuff so high being oh so nasty!‎

I had a really bad experience with SELLING clothes here. I dropped off a huge shopping bag full of NEW clothes with the tags still on all of them. I got a call 1 week later saying i had items to pick up. The person that called hardly spoke english and said i would be paid $25 for all of my items. i told her it would be 1 week before i could get there. I showed up to pick up my items and no one could find them. The woman at the cash register was not apologetic and very rude to me and simply stated my items had been donated to charity. Then she gave me $20 for my huge bag of clothes (even though i was told it would be $25). They said it was store policy to donate items picked up however i was not notified of any policy since the person that called me hardly spoke english. In the future i will donate ALL of my child's clothing to a shelter or thrift store! It was NOT worth the $20. At the very least, they could have offered a sincere apology. I will never shop there again.‎

If you are on a tight budget and need children's clothing and supplies, Once Upon A Child is the place to go. I have found the merchandise to usually be all over the place, so you really have to dig hard to find something you want. Nothing is separated by size. It does take a while to find decent clothing that isn't too worn-out, but the prices are terrific. If you have the time to hunt, shopping at Once Upon A Child can save you a load of money. Other than clothing, they also offer cribs, strollers, car seats, and toys.

Once Upon A Child is a great place to find great bargains on boutique brand clothing. They carry several new brands and then all of the gently used clothing. They have a wonderful selection of cribs and strollers. The staff is very nice. I shop there frequently for my daughters. They just remodeled not too long ago and have doubled their space. It is very roomy.

PROS: Great Bargains
CONS: Don't pay much for items that are brought in.
