everytime i go in there's a sime on the barristas face. they are always polite and curtious.

I am really amazed how you whiners come onto Yahoo to slander a business who is just doing a JOB that they are contracted to do. Private Property Towing has certain guidelines and regulations they must follow. All Nor Cal Tow is one of the only companies that are COMPLIANT with the California LAW regarding Private Property Towing. Read up on C.V.C 22658a you will learn a lot. All tows are legal and within the law. All towing rates are set by California Highway Patrol guidelines. If you are speeding on the freeway and get a ticket, do you complain to and slander the California Highway Patrol, or the Sacramento Police Dept., ect., ect? NO! Parking in a fire lane is ILLEGAL! Blocking a lane of travel is ILLEGAL!, parking in a handicapped space with no placard is, yup, you guessed it, ILLEGAL!!. If you are a renter of a parking spot and you park in the spaces reserved for other renters with a Bogus pass you are not following the rules, something you are supposed to learn do in elementary school, follow the rules. I am very familiar with All Nor Cal Towing and the owner and all the things you have said about them are untrue and slanderous. Don't worry busybee, Some people just never learn. I enjoy dropping by Old Soul for a cup of coffee, and I really enjoy their honor system "put your money in the pitcher" way of doing business. This is a small, locally owned business trying to do things a little differently from the slick-marketing corp "experience" offered by chain coffee joints. However, the young baristas have NEVER been rude to me (and, frankly, show a lot less attitude, piercings, and tattoos than technically you might see, say in a coffee house in the Haight). C'mon, Baristas of Old Soul, show us the 'TUDE. (No, don't. I was just kidding. You're fine as you are. Carry on.)

Important to note: They hand roast all their coffees and get them from organic and small farmers. They're not an international McCoffee conglomerate, which means the people in there don't act like drones. And, it's a rather fine cuppa joe...

So. To sum up:

Drones, bland coffee, and a little Kenny G ---> Go to Starbucks.
Mellow ambiance, good coffee, good developing-nation karma ---> Old Soul......

You be the judge.

I think the concept is great and the coffee is decent for a new coffee roaster that reads out of a book as he's trying to roast his own coffee...
But i think the 2 owners of old soul need some classes on how to treat ppl with respect...
So unless you wanna support local rude busines owners, dont go there...

You can get their coffee just bout anywhere with a smile..
Here smiles and warm friendly feelings do not exsist...
