The Old Faithful Geyser is located a few miles away from downtown Calistoga. The place has a dirt parking lot and there is a small entrance fee to enter through the gift shop to where the geyser is. They have a few picnic tables with benches there. The geyser itself spurts up every twenty or so minutes. It's an interesting thing to see for the first time but can loose it's appeal real fast.

You wouldn't think waiting around to watch water shoot up into the air would be worth it, but it is! Old Faithful is one of only three Old Faithful's in the world, called so because of their predictability. This particular one errupts about every 45 minutes, and shoots water anywhere between 60-100 feet into the air! The admission costs are reasonable, too:
