They are a ripoff. Multiple applicants for 1 property. Won't tell you if the have candidate for the same property you want and than try to tell you to apply for another if you are approved.
Pros: Quick
Cons: Not honest. Can;t be trusted.

Ogburn Properties BAD PEOPLE
If you are looking to rent a property with these guys be very careful they will not fix anything in your house to start.

They kept our initial deposit and we are having to go to court.

Ogburn Properties is a rip-off
I had a rental property with this company and they have the worst customer service you can think about, besides that they kept the initial deposit even though we left before the 12 month lease and the house being in MINT condition. ...

Horrible Customer Service
My husband and I attempted to rent from Ogburn Properties recently. We thought their properties were well maintained and in good shape. However that was the only good thing I could say about them. When my husband called to ask about rental requirements, application fees, security deposits etc he was treated so rudely that we almost decided to give up on them. However, I convinced him that we should at least go in and discuss things with them face to face.
When we walked in, the receptionist was very nice, however her manager was an entirely different story. He walked up and bluntly said, "what". My husband and I introduced ourselves and my husband shook his hand, I offered my hand to shake and the guy just looked at me.
In a nutshell, the guy treated us like jerks. We politely asked him if they allowed dogs with a deposit and he very rudely said that if we want to rent anywhere, that our famiy dogs would be better off at the pound. We ended up decided to apply for a house figuring that we would never see the guy again but they didn't bother to tell us that someone already had an application in for the house, so we wasted $70 on an application fee because he was too rude to tell us that someone more than likely already had the house. I can't even describe how rude and inconsiderate the man was so I wont continue, but I would NOT recommend renting from them or even doing any sort of business from them.

Miserable Renter
I have a rental property from Ogburn and I would just like to say that it has been the worst experience. First of all, they panted (multiple times) over all of the windows. None of them no longer open. I cannot imagine how many coats of paint that would take. Second of all, the house had multiple problems with plumbing, heating, broken widow pains, broken door knobs, busted security system wall units, and many other little things. We knew this starting out. Ogburn reassured us that, just like in the lease, if we turned in a work order of all of the problems 10 days after our move in, that they would be fixed. For a whole month of calling they never fixed anything or even called us back to say they were working on it. Finally, they decided to fix the plumbing which required putting a massive hole in our stair well. It's been two weeks since it has been fixed and but they still have had anyone come back to fix it. I over heard the property manager saying to the workers something to the effect of "Well, now we only have the first months rent so whatever we can fix under that money we will do." How ridiculous! It's getting into fall now, two months after we turned in the work order, and nothing else has been fixed. I do not harass them about these things every day. I call about once a week and I get the SAME answer every time. Ogburn does not allow renters to put in work orders after that first 10 day window. A lady at the front desk puts them in for you. And yet, every time I call about these problems, the SAME lady sounds as if she has never heard of the problem. She even asks the same questions about it every time. Her answer? "I will let my manager know. We will get working on that for you." NOT TRUE.

I also found this exert from a Winston Salem online page. From what I have said above, I think you know what I think about the reality of it.
