Originally went to Best Buy today to buy an HP printer I have been looking at. My husband and I stood in the printer section at Best Buy for well over 10 minutes waiting for one of the very few associates that was working to at least acknowledge our presence. After well over 15 minutes of standing around, we threw in the towel and left. We decided to visit the Pleasanton Ca Officemax to see if they might have the same printer we were looking at, at Best Buy. Because we have never been to this store, let alone an Officemax period, we were quite surprised by the customer service we received when we walked in. As soon as we walked in, what do you know, an employee who was interested in helping us. Wow, what a change from what we just felt from the boys in blue over at Best Buy. They price matched Best Buys price on the printer, and the guy that helped us get everything we needed, had great product knowledge of what he was selling us. Great customer service, friendly , knowledgeable staff, that is obviously focused around customer relations! Thanks guys, we love our printer!

Let me first start out by saying this is one of the best customer service driven Officemax locations I have ever been to. I bought 2 printers from this store over a year ago for my business in San Ramon CA, and purchased their Max replacement plan extended warranty. One of my printers just flat out died on me while I was printing a report, and because this report needed to be printed in color, I was unable to use the other printer in the office because it was black and white. I packed it in my car, and headed down to OfficeMax. I noticed as I pulled up to the front that I was a bit early, the store didn't open till 8am. As I was sitting in my car, the manager opened the front door and waived me in. I grabbed my broken printer and started to desperately explain my situation to him and told him that I had the replacement plan. What happened next, was awesome!!!! He took a look at the printer, ran over to his printer aisle and grabbed a brand new one and swapped it out for me. Are you kidding me!!!!! This was going above and beyond the line in my eyes. I have been to this particular Officemax location before and have always gotten great service from these guys, but this was the icing on the cake! Thanks you Officemax team for caring about your customers!!!!

I bought a samsung printer in early December. I got it in January. Customer service kept telling me lies that its being shipped in few days, whereas they shipped it after a month. I thought may be it was a one time officemax slip. I order another Brother printer 3 weeks ago... still waiting for it. Called customer service.. very rude; did not care; They told me it is delayed by 2 weeks, but that was again a lie. Its been 3 weeks now. DO NOT PURCHASE TECHNOLOGY ITEMS FROM OFFICEMAX.COM. They don't stock any thing and their deliveries take more than a month.
