FYI - Off Broadway is NOT former LimeLight

Off Broadway is NOT the former LimeLight, it is only in LimeLight's former location. Why is this, you might ask? It is because (unbeknownst to the LimeLight board members, staff, students and patrons) Cheryl Lynn Reynolds, acting president (though never elected) of LimeLight, a 501(c)(3) non profit corporation, formed her own company Off Broadway Theatre LLC, a FOR profit company, drove LimeLight (financially speaking) into the ground, held secret meetings with various other never-elected board members (two, to be precise) and voted to sell LimeLight's assets (including the building, the costumes, the lights, the dance studio, the audio equipment, the piano, the computers, and everything else) to Off Broadway (read:Cheryl Reynolds) for $4500. The quality of their staff or classes is not in question, but the character and foundation of the company. Legal action is well underway to rectify the situation. Is this the kind of environment in which you want to put your child? Do not patronize.

Fantastic studio by Amy C. at InsiderPages

I just enrolled my 6-year-old in ballet classes at the Off Broadway studio a little over a month ago. Her teacher is great--fun but still able to keep discipline. The have a big recital coming up which will be held at the local auditorium. Lesson prices are decent (ballet is once a week for 1 hour), under $50, but plan on paying $100 for recital costs and costumes.

Off Broadway also offers other dance classes (including tap), acting classes, and Broadway vocal training. As a singer, I was impressed with the quality of singing I heard coming from the lesson room! The company also puts on musicals regularly, which local high-schoolers try out for. I was very impressed with this studio! I might even take some classes there myself (they offer ballet among other classes to adults, as well as kids).

Parents can wait in the lobby while their children participate in their classes. There is a closed-circuit TV on which you can watch them during class. They also have comfortable sofas to sit on while you wait.

FYI, Off Broadway is the former Limelight studio. It is located behind Donovan Dodge.
