Not the best experience
My 15 year old daughter and 2 friends wanted to rent a limo as a 16th birthday surprise for another friend. The plan was to have the limo pick the first three up at our house, drive to the birthday girl's house (surprise!), and open presents on the way to a local restaurant where the limo would drop them off (I picked them us at the end of the night). We hired A&A for $110 plus 20% tip. The trip was less than an hour.
The limo arrived promptly and the driver was friendly, professional, and well-groomed. The limo was clean and well appointed. I was not offered a receipt for my cash payment, however, which concerned me. Then, shortly after departure, a fuse blew and the girls had no interior lights for most of their trip (including the part where they were to be opening presents). Needless to say, the girls were disappointed, but were told that the company would contact me to offer some sort of compensation, such as a discount on a future rental.
After several days of not hearing from the company, I called and spoke with Gary, the owner of the company and the person with whom I had spoken in making the reservations. When I described what had happened with the lights and the promises made, he said he knew nothing about it but that he would check into it and call me back. I never heard back from him.
It was alot of money to pay for a ride that was less than perfect. I understand that "things happen", but a 4- or 5-star business would make an effort to compensate for this. At this point, I am not sure it is worth pestering A&A about it, but I would hesitate to do business with them again given their apparent lack of concern for customer satisfaction.
