If we must go by Amy D. at InsiderPages
Then this is where I want to go... When my grandmother passed away the family buried her here. There is a gated section for Jewish families and this is where she lies. They were great from the get go and it was a beautiful graveside burial. We have been to a couple other funerals here and they too have been done with grace and charm. The staff is very friendly and caring... The chapel is clean and can hold many people. The grounds are lush and kept up nicely - the bushes surrounding the grounds let you visit without the interruption of Monterey Hwy & Curtner. Nobody wants to loose someone but in the end Oak Hill will treat you and your family right

When I lost my father it was the saddest experience our family ever faced. We were devastated by his sudden death.

From the moment we drove into the park we were impressed with the ambiance and beauty of the park.

The staff was curtious, to the point to make us comfortable and offer us coffee almost as soon as we sat down.

we visited other parks around the bay area, but Oak hill was our last stop.

Our father was placed in the grounds of Oak hill and we visit there often.

If you have lost someone dear, Id strongly recommend this park. Our experience was wonderful, Im sures yours would be as well.

They have a very eclectic chapel on the grounds, it looks like something out of a fairytale. When we made arrangements we were treated very nicely and the arranger really cared for us and our well being.

I thought it was amazing that we covered so many arrangements in such a short period of time, we definitely were not prepared, but the information was translated to us very clearly. In respect to the service, oh everything was just beautiful. The floral arrangement my cousin Linda brought were gorgeus. My family from Boston was able to attend to our astonishment, because the service was on such short notice.

times like this the family really came together. On the memorial service day the sun was bright and it seemed like god was shining down on us. I really felt a spiritual experience, and when all was said and done I thnk my father would have been very pleased with how everything went.

My experience during the very difficult was made as pleasant as it possibly could have been, during such a loss.

Thank you Oakhill

Bad Experience With Oak Hill Memorial Park
On 1/19/08 our mother was scheduled for a graveside service and burial at 11:30 am. A 12:30 memorial service for family and friends was scheduled at a local church. Oak Hill's representative, Leigh Seto, advised that all was ready and that he would attend the service. At 11:30 the immediate family and Priest were gathered at the graveside. No Leigh Seto, no Mother. At 11:45 we went to the reception desk to inquire and express our concerns. We were told delays were not unusual and the mortuary transport was probably delayed in traffic. We asked them to call and confirm. A couple of trips back and forth from the gravesite to the reception desk and still no info. At 12:25 we made the decision to go to the church for the memorial service. My brother stopped again at the reception desk and Leigh Seto came out of a ?meeting? and told him he would find out what the problem was.

Leigh Seto called Saturday evening to report that it was the Mortuary?s fault and that they would be getting back to us.

Monday morning we learned from the Mortuary that Mother?s remains had been delivered to Oak Hill a week prior to the scheduled burial.

Needless to say, we were very disatisfied with Oak Hill Memorial Park's service.
