Hands you can trust by Katie H. at InsiderPages
As a new first-time parent, I really concerned about finding the right daycare for my son. From the first phone call to make an arrangement to view the facility, I had a good feeling. I wanted more structured format of childcare than a private residence-based day care, but I also wanted more personal attention than the typical large business-like daycares. Notre Dame Infant Center/ Preschool was exactly what I was looking for. I like Notre Dame because it is a family environment, both literally and figuratively.
Ms. Edna is the principal and her entire family are caretakers at Notre Dame, along with several other teachers. Ms. Edna knows every child by name and her door is always open to your questions or concerns. She is very caring and genuinely wants to provide the best experience for your child. My son started there at 4 months. Ms. Gloria and Ms. Michelle are the prefect combo for the Infant 1 class! They both take their roles very seriously and provide excellent daily feedback about your child's activities and progress. Ms. Gloria is a sweetheart and my son LOVES her. He also loves Ms. Michelle as she is just wonderful. Ms. Michelle has an Education background. She teaches painting, crafts, and even sign language. As a first-time mom, I didn't know a lot of things (my son was acting extra fussy, and they recommended that I change his formula to a reduced lactose formula and it worked!) and they make sure that the kids meet their milestones on time. There are also assistants teachers to the Infiant 1 class. Mainly, Ms. Joanna and Ms. Delia, and they are always smiling and very geniune with children. I also have to mention my son's fav Ms. Tracey~ I could just see in her eyes that she adores all children! Ms. Tracey actually taught our son to hold his own bottle :)
