Another Customer Robbed at Northwest Dodge
I took my Plymouth to North Western Dodge because it was making unusual noises and over heating. I thought that the dealer's mechanic should be the best qualified to work on their own make and models since Chrysler, Dodge and Plymouth are the same family of cars.

The Northwestern Dodge service people are not motivated to help customers who come in their door at all. They are very good at ignoring a customer right in front of them. On my first visit there, I tried to get the attention of 3 different service people by walking up to their desks. The first 2 whose desks I approached stood up and left as I arrived at the front of their desks without even making eye contact or saying anything as though I wasn't there though I was right in front them. The 3rd one I approached just sat down at his desk and also looked as though he was avoiding acknowledging my presence as he looked left and right and avoided eye contact with me until I spoke to him. Getting his attention seemed to perturb him because now he had to acknowledge that he was aware of my presence in front of him.

After explaining the problem to this service man He said that I could leave the car with their Service Department over night and the mechanics would have it diagnosed the next day. I left my car with them. They had my car for 6 days. I had to keep calling them. They would not call me. For 5 days they could not diagnose the problems although you could hear the problems pretty well when you drive the car. On the 5th day, the service man identified the problem as a bad hub. I asked him if changing the hub would fix the problem. He said, "yes it would."

I paid Northwestern Dodge $859 and drove it out of their lot on the evening of the 6th day that they had my car in their service garage. It still had both of the same problems for which I had brought it to them.

A few days later, I brought my car back to Northwestern Dodge and complained that my car still had both of the problems for which I had already paid $859 to fix. The service man refused to acknowledge the problems as the same problems for which I had brought the car in the first time and did not even offer to have the mechanics take another look at it.

A couple of months later, the noise problem got worse. It made driving the car somewhat frightening. I took the car back to Northwestern Dodge and spoke directly to the service manager and informed her that I had brought my car to them twice before and paid them $859 for no improvement. I couldn't even get them to acknowledge and diagnose the problems accurately. Finally, after being in their lobby all day on the 3rd visit, one of their mechanics came out and took a ride with me in the car. He acknowledged the problem and diagnosed it as a wheel hub. Well, wasn't that what I paid them to fix on the first 6 day period that they had my car in their garage? Yeah, and I remember that they said that it would be fixed. Well, they would not fix the problem unless I paid them again.

A few days later, I took my car to an independent mechanic who fixed the problem in 3 hours and charged me $150 for labor and $168 for the new hub for a total of $318, less than half of what I paid to Northwestern Dodge for no improvement at all.

My car still has the over heating problem because I don't have anymore money right now to get that fixed because I got robbed when I took my car to Northwestern Dodge to fix that problem on the first visit there.

Don't take your Chrysler, Dodge or Plymouth vehicle to Northwestern Dodge. Don't get robbed.

Awful! by Leticia S. at InsiderPages
Dealership mechanic just could not fix my vehicle. Tried to charge me $100 deductible twice. Picked up vehicle 4 days later and vehicle was still not fixed! Would not recommend this dealership for automotive repair
