If you travel across the country or probably even the world, you will not find a roller skating place as nice as this. Hands down, the best place to have a birthday, fundraiser, corporate event or holiday party. I had a bunch of my son's birthday's here and everyone always raves about it. definitely worth checking it out!

growing up in the valley, skateland is a great, safe hang out for young teenagers. also a great place to throw a birthday party. even at 26 i'm considering throwing a disco birthday party. not sure if they let booze in though...

Last weekend I invited my son's friends (15 kids) to Skateland. I wanted to make-up for a rough week my 12 yr old had. My son typical boy, shaved part of his eye brows. My son was teased at school all week. So I spent alot of $$$ at Skateland to cheer him up only to have an adult employee point at my son, while laughing and making fun of my son for shaving his eye-brows. After confronting the employee he did apologize but the damage was done.

There are open daily skating sessions and private lessons, but I'm a big fan of the parties you can have here. My parents threw several birthday parties here when my brother and I were little, and now as an adult I often have parties there again--retro throwbacks with cake and partyfavors for 30 year-olds. (Of course, we head off to a bar after.) It's a silly kind of fun, great for kids and adults alike.

You can rent out skateland for a party. My girlfriend's sister had her sweet 16 there which was way cool, they let her also bring in a band. It is nice to skate there when it is not open to the public. They have a DJ that throws stuff out the you in the rink for parties. There pizza is good, they play requests and you can bring in your own music for a private party. I have been going here since I was a Brownie, they gave us discounts.
