We have boarded our dogs at North Main for many years and I totally agree with JaneAnn G. Our dogs love coming here and we know that they are well-cared for and safe. We know that we can enjoy our vacations without worrying about our dogs. Our German Shepherd is very skittish and she loves to come here to see Chris and Colleen and the other staff. The staff is very friendly and you can tell that they really care about your pets. We also recommend the groomers next door - our dogs always look great when we pick them up.

I just picked up my Lab after another stay at North Main Pet Lodge!!!...she never wants to come home. I was very lucky to have a good friend recommend NMPL...all my puppies have stayed there numerous times and love to go back. There isn't a better endorsement than that!! The entire staff is friendly and caring and grooming is available!

Boy was I lucky when a good friend recommended North Main Pet Lodge!!! Chris and Colleen and their staff have been great with all my dogs. As soon as we open the tailgate my Labs get excited to go to camp. They walk in the door and never look back! Pet Lodge is a family institution in Walnut Creek and is worth the drive! Check it out! They are always happy to give prospective clients a tour.

We dropped in this afternoon. There was a woman taking out the trash when we drove up. She rudely told us they were closed and walked off. We will not be making anymore inquiries about their services. I hope they aren't this rude to all their potential clients!

This is an almost-downtown kennel that has been around for years. It's fairly modern, and there is a built-in grooming service (Four Paws Grooming, where you dog can be groomed/bathed, to be spanking clean and beautiful, when you return home.
