When I chose North Community Bank as my bank, I was looking for a small bank feel in a big city, with personal service and easy locations. I didn't want a big, faceless conglomerate managing my money.

I am so pleased with North Community over the years. Although the Roscoe branch serves as a training spot for managers, and I've seen many great ones come and go, I am consistently pleased with all aspects of the bank's service.

The tellers are friendly and knowledgable. All associates are skilled and offer great personalized service. On repeat visits, people remember your name and make a point to say hello and chit chat. I really appreciate that. I also am impressed by the bank's involvement within the community (PAWS, etc.).

All accounts offered are comparable with other banks. North Community doesn't really offer many special investing opportunities other than CDs, etc., but for your basic banking needs, you can't beat North Community.

I've had an account here for quite a while and here's what I like about it: free checking, lots of NCB ATMs in town (to avoid extra charges) and the ATM card is designed with a photo of the Chicago skyline---call me cheesy. Also, they are serious about the security of your account, starting with supplying you with a photo bank ID.
