Dr. Starr is a Great Vet.
I have been going to Dr. Starr for over a year now. I very happy with her. She always takes time to explain things to me and is very gentle with the animals. I have never had any problems with Noah's Ark what so ever. I would recommend them to anyone and I think there prices are very fair if not much less than other places I have gone to in the past. I have had many animals in my life time and so I know a good vet when I see one.

THANKS FOR SHARING !
Thank You for posting! Noah's Ark was referred to me by PetSmart to get my parakeets flight wings clipped.
So..........
after reading about your horrible experiences, I will avoid that hospital like the plague! I really hope a great change is made, as in-A NEW OWNERSHIP AND A MORE CONSIDERATE, LOVING, CARING, COMPASSIONATE VETERINARIAN !

Blessings to you and all your animals!

Horrible experience!! by Cyn H. at InsiderPages
I took my cat in for routine vaccs and came out with a diagnosis of earmites. Took him back in two weeks later for follow up and grooming and followed up with the assits during the day. I was told he was being groomed and everything was fine at 10:30. Then at 2:35 I called to check up and was told that he needed a bunch of tests and work done.. all adding to over $550! Was then told that he had not been groomed because he was too aggressive and needed to be sedated. It turns out that no one took him out of the carrier and he'd been sitting in it since 8:15 and it was now almost 2:45! No food, no water, no bathroom! He was fine when I dropped him off and when he came home, he was limping and looked like roadkill. I don't know what they did to him; what I do know is that their service is AWFUL and they didn't take good care of my cat. I took him some place else and was told that he didn't have earmites. He had an ear infection and had trauma to his abdomen. Where did this come from? I dropped off a healthy 15 lb cat and instead came home limping and hurt! I would avoid this clinic at all cost. It almost cost my baby's life and I will never trust them again!

NOAH'S ARK DISSATISFACTION by Lainie H. at InsiderPages
I WAS an owner of a 5 y/o black labrador retriever who I lost to DEATH 5 days after taking him to Noah's Ark Animal Hospital in Fullerton. I took my HEALTHY boy to Noah's Ark as he had experienced a minor limp in his front right paw for 2 weeks. I went to Noah's Ark to receive some pain medicine for him as baby Aspirin (81 mg) didn't take effect after 4 days of being administered. The Veterniarian that assisted Xpresso and I was Barbara Starr. To make a long story short I was not impressed with Barbara overall as a Vet. I'm a physical therapist at a local hospital and so am aware of patient care and patient education, both of which were lacking greatly at Noah's Ark. She keeps him for 3 hours to take an xray AND update vaccines. When I went back to pick him up, Barbara did NOT come out to talk to me of the findings and/or his condition. She did not educate me on the risks and benefits of the medicine or what it was and was for. She prescribed a medicine that is contraindicated with aspirin use. The receptionist gave me the medicine Barbara recommended and told me to give 1 tablet a day. I didn't think anything of it expecting the medicine to be equivalent to a tylenol at appropriate dosage. I went home and started administering the medicine the next day. 5 days later my dog died. Autopsy revealed he died of GI HEMORRHAGE which is common with Previcox and Rimadryl (spelling). After she knew he died, I went to pick up the medical records. She did NOT come out to apologize to me face to face. No phone call, no card in the mail. Nothing, yet I received phone calls and cards from the two other clinics that made him comfortable in his passing. Prior to all this he was a very healthy young 5y/o black lab who loved going to long beach for his weekend swim(s). IT'S UP TO US TO EDUCATE AND INFORM EACHOTHER OF INCOMPETENT PROFESSIONALS TO LIMIT THE HARM DONE TO HUMANS AND OUR
