I've been using NY Dog Spa & Hotel for my dog's grooming for over five years now and I absolutely love them. The staff at the front desk is wonderful and I always look forward to seeing them when I drop Chloe off. I found them through google when my dog was a puppy, made an appointment, and my dog's first groom was with them - all by chance. Also by chance, our appointment was with Jorge and I've been using him ever since. I truly love him! Over the years, we've become friends and my whole family knows my groomer's name and they all look forward to seeing Chloe after her groom. He is a pleasure to work with, extremely talented and above all, very good to my dog. He is also very involved with animal charities and really loves what he does. We used to live in the city but moved out to Long Island 2 years ago and I still commute in just to get her groomed. Sounds crazy, but no one cuts Chloe like Jorge. I took her to another groomer once because I could not get to the city that month and the results were terrible. I couldn't wait to take her back to Jorge to be fixed. Overall, I highly recommend Dog Spa for all your dog's needs. I plan to continue to use them as long as Jorge lets us!

The owner is there all the time ( a dog owner 7 lover himself) and always has treats available. My dog and I had used another large daycare and the difference is night and day. Knowledgeable, courteous and reliable staff, clean open play space for the pups, good dogs and wonderful individualized day time activities and attention. I'll give you an example. One night I was so tired from work I literally couldn't walk to pick her up. I called the spa at 9 pm (they close at 10 pm) and the women said "we can bring her home right now". Thats a dog lover for you. If you want a happy dog and a relaxed owner- this is your spot. And less expensive than other places that don't preform half these wonderful services. Ok that's my spiel :)

I was dog sitting for my sister in the UES and had to go to New Jersey unexpectedly. What on earth was i going to do with the dog! I needed to have someone watch him for the day...but as this is my sister baby i knew that i had to pick a good place. I walked into ny dog spa and was immediately put at ease. I was nervous at first...but when i got back at the end of the day Daisy didn't want to leave! HA! It all really worked out in the end!

My dog Floyd loves this place, he can't wait to go back. It's clean, affordable and the people are just so nice.
This is the place to bring your dog in NYC, I dont trust anywhere else!
