Great Haircut, Worst Pedicure Ever!
I received a gift certificate to this place, for a haircut, pedicure and an eyebrow wax. I got the haircut first and had a great experience with the stylist, then I had the pedicure and wax scheduled for another day. When I got to the salon for my appointment, the pedicurist (Sandra was her name I think) was running late with other customers and when she was ready for me she put me in this massage chair for about an hour while she ran around like a chicken with it's head cut off, attending to three other customers. I would understand this sort of treatment if I was a walk-in, but I made an appointment!... I was in that salon for TWO AND A HALF HOURS!!
When she did get around to me, she wouldn't let me choose my own nail polish color and tried to force these tacky nail decals on me that I didn't want. She was totally unprofessional with her language, and she gossiped about her other customers and hair dressers in her salon. Then, when it came time for the eyebrow wax, she put wax on my eyebrow and then left it there for about three or four minutes before coming back and ripping off my skin long after the wax had dried (I now have a scar under my eyebrow). The next day, my toenails hurt so much that I couldn't wear anything but flip flops and my back was sore from sitting in that massage chair for two hours. When I talked to the person who gave me the gift certificate, she said she had the same experience with Sandra, except that her appointment had taken five hours and she had been talked into having these tacky flower stickers put on her toes. When she got home, she tried to pick them off and then had to repaint her toes!
The hairstylist was really great when I got my haircut but I will never ever go back here for a pedicure, it was the worst salon experience I have ever had.
