poor service
I drove up to New Creations excited to see a cute little house all re done into a salon. A great location and really visible too-as a retired beautician I got excited for a little pampering. I walked in to find no one in there. I waited not quite sure where to go. Out walked the owner with a bird on her shoulder and I thought good god this is a joke-my kids must be playing a joke on me. I gave her my name and then she told me to "sit..." as she pointed to dingy pedicure chair-then to my surprise I could smell smoke. Not because of the chair-because the two ladies working there were smoking in the back room where there is no door.
I can't believe such a cute place could turn out to be like this. I was figuring the owner would say something and then my pedicure ended up being almost 2 hours long-my feet soaked so long that the water got cold.
I would not recommend this to anyone-a business owner should know better.

Great Hilights & Best Cut I've had in 6 Years !
This salon is unlike any other.Tall ceilings and very open space. Interesting stuff everywhere you look. Colorful walls and funky shaped furniture. Super Cool space. The thing that struck me immediately was that everyone (staff & clients in salon) were all smiling :~) The salon itself was so warm and welcoming. I'm new to the area ( also very bad w/ direction) so I got extremely lost. Consequently , I was over an hour late. I figured they would reschedule me. Not a chance. They said "No worries" and they stayed open late to do my hair. Unbelievable I travel alot with my job so I have had more than my share of bad hair experiences and snotty salons all over the country. So it was more than refreshing to see such great talent, service and dedication. But most importantly, My hair, it was SO CUTE !!!! Exactly what I wanted. What a concept. I am sooo impressed with the highlights and cut. The highlights turned out very natural looking.. just as I asked for. And the cut...........it's the best cut I've had in 6 years!! The problem areas I've been searching for someone to fix are now fixed and no longer exist. Finally... I just wanted to say thanks and add to all of the wonderful reviews you so obviously have earned and deserve.

Avoid like the plague
Well, this is the second time I have tried to leave a review for New Creations Salon. The first one didn't go through after I typed it so I figured they didn't like my negative rating. Anyway, went to this place in 03/07 and will never step foot into it again! Sandra, the owner, gave me a pedicure and I was there for three hours. She jacked around the whole time doing other stuff and talking on the phone and she cut six out of 10 of my toes and I was bleeding like crazy. She didn't seem to be bothered by it but I sure was. A pedicure is suppose to be relaxing but by the time I left there, I was so upset. She was a freak and I won't go back. Don't know how she stays in business. She told me she brings her parrot to work and it is not in a cage. Isn't this a health violation?!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great Haircut, Worst Pedicure Ever!
I received a gift certificate to this place, for a haircut, pedicure and an eyebrow wax. I got the haircut first and had a great experience with the stylist, then I had the pedicure and wax scheduled for another day. When I got to the salon for my appointment, the pedicurist (Sandra was her name I think) was running late with other customers and when she was ready for me she put me in this massage chair for about an hour while she ran around like a chicken with it's head cut off, attending to three other customers. I would understand this sort of treatment if I was a walk-in, but I made an appointment!... I was in that salon for TWO AND A HALF HOURS!!

When she did get around to me, she wouldn't let me choose my own nail polish color and tried to force these tacky nail decals on me that I didn't want. She was totally unprofessional with her language, and she gossiped about her other customers and hair dressers in her salon. Then, when it came time for the eyebrow wax, she put wax on my eyebrow and then left it there for about three or four minutes before coming back and ripping off my skin long after the wax had dried (I now have a scar under my eyebrow). The next day, my toenails hurt so much that I couldn't wear anything but flip flops and my back was sore from sitting in that massage chair for two hours. When I talked to the person who gave me the gift certificate, she said she had the same experience with Sandra, except that her appointment had taken five hours and she had been talked into having these tacky flower stickers put on her toes. When she got home, she tried to pick them off and then had to repaint her toes!

The hairstylist was really great when I got my haircut but I will never ever go back here for a pedicure, it was the worst salon experience I have ever had.
