Purchased shoes for $130, salesmen insisted on larger size than normal, comfortable at first, soon developed a squeak which turned into a loud quack at every step, will donate them to the thrift store, will never go back to this store or get NB again.‎

I have wide flat feet which requires me to get shoes that have a wide size. I've read that it's best to go to a store that has a knowledgable staff with quality shoe products that will minimize the strain on the lower back due to the lack of arch support in my feet.

New Balance is a very reputable brand with a good selection of foot wear. The actual New Balance store takes it to another level where the staff will show you the best New Balance products for your specific needs.

The sales person I dealt with was named Jeff and when I described my problem, he understood the type of shoes and inserts that I would need. After measuring my foot to get the correct shoe size, he brought out 3 pairs of shoes with the stability features that help people who over pronate, a typical problem with flat footed individuals. Jeff also recommended some different insoles that would give me better arch support.

A huge plus was that the store featured shoes that were made in the USA.

The whole shopping experience was excellent. I walked away purchasing a new pair of shoes knowing that they are designed to help make being active a lot easier for me. Jeff even trimmed the insoles to fit properly in the shoes I bought.

I highly recommend going to this store. You'll probably end up spending a little more but you will definitely end up with the right shoes and peace of mind.
