Confirmed my belief that urgent care centers -- even ones with fancy TV commercials and nice waiting rooms -- are no substitute for your "real" doctor. Will not go into detail other than to say I was prescribed a med not generally recommended for nursing mothers (and the doc knew I was nursing). Next time I am sick on a weekend I will either wait for Monday or go to the ER. Staff was friendly, and wait time was minimal, but that doesn't take away the fact that I took a medicine that could have been potentially harmful to my child. Go if you must, but follow up with your regular doc as soon as you can.‎

My 22 month old daughter developed an ear infection while we were on vacation. The hostess at the Cottages where we stayed highly recommended the Nason Medical Center on Bowman Rd in Mt Pleasant. The staff was very friendly, very courteous and knowledgeable. I heard many complements from the patients while waiting. I was a bit concerned when I had to take my daughter to an unknown facility. But after the experience, I was very pleased that I had.‎

I was very pleased with the organized, well-trained, well-executed care I received from Nason Med Center. Even on a Sunday morning with a steady stream of customers, they kept things moving along quickly and were very, very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely go back the next time I get sick on a weekend, which it seems I only ever get sick on anyhow.‎

Without going into details, I awoke Friday with a condition that was either very serious or possibly an infection. Unable to get into to see my Doctor until Monday, I was frantic and knew I would drive myself crazy by Monday. Thank heaven for Nason Medical Center. They saw me quickly and the result was an infection and they wrote Rx's for me to pick up that afternoon. this was a lifesaver for me!‎

If I had been thinking right I would have researched Nason before I went to them. I went to Nason in February-March twice. The 1st time was not so bad but when I went back the second time with what I thought was heart trouble, we were taken in in the first few minutes. After taking some info and some blood we waited for very near 2 hours before we saw anyone again. Only after my husband stepped out into the hall did anyone acknowdge us. After a lot of unnecessary tests we were sent home knowing less than when we arrived. BUT too top it all off, Nason sent a report to my Doctor saying I had come in complaining ABOUT MY KNEES!! I wrote them but they don't care. I'm paying $5 a month‎
