The owner Larry always goes out of his way to make shopping there a nice experience. They carry lots of the healthy brands that we use, specifically Innova (Evo) for cats. Even if Larry isn't working that day, his staff is very friendly and helpful. It is in a very convenient location on the corner of La Brea and Olympic. Since it is a Mom and Pop place, there is almost never any waiting in line. 5 stars.

I've been in search of a good pet food store ever since For Pet's Only closed their La Brea location a few months back and I've finally found it - My Pet's Place. Mainstream petstores such as Petco, Petsmart and grocery stores offer very little alternatives to commercial (translation: food containing wheat gluten) pet food but this place has every great pet food brand out there including Wellness, Innova and Candidae. The service was friendly and knowledgeable and I highly recommend shopping here for people who want to give their pets the best food they can.
