Go to musicians friend for a better deal. Prices are over priced, owner does not care for his customer base. He just wants your money. Make sure you look online before your purchase.

I agree with the other reviewers, avoid this place at all costs. This place has been in business for many years, under different ownership. I have generally avoided them but I was going to make an online accessory purchase and wanted to give them a shot at it. I found what I wanted on line and printed out the order, totalling $225 and asked them to match it or at least come close. Their price? $1125! Then the salesguy got mad because I lauged in his face. What would he do if someone told him they'd sell him the exact same thing for FIVE TIMES the price? If you're going to even set foot in this place, make SURE you do your homework first and know the street prices or they will rip you off.

AVOID THIS PLACE! This place is very overpriced as compared to almost any other music store. But worst of all they are very dishonest. I was sold an instrument for a child and told that it would hold a tune. It didn't hold a tune at all. The price was twice as much as other stores (I later discovered). They did nothing to resolve. I'm shocked and disappointed. I have had wonderful experiences with A&G Music in Oakland & San Ramon and Allegro in Fremont but this place in San Leandro is the bottom of the barrel. LIARS!

Sells rep was rude and push. The guitars are way overpriced.

My advice is, don't go to Music Unlimited, because this place tries to rip you off. I went there a while ago to shop for an acoustic guitar, and ended up purchasing one that was overpriced and didn't even come with a guitar bag. Typically a guitar should come with its own bag, but I had to purchase it separately, for $35. I admit I wasn't prepared and didn't know what I was looking for when I went there, but I am certainly not going there ever again.
