What is the core of a Successful business ? Experienced employees, a knowledge of the products that can only be gained through hands on training , usually a lifetime of dedication to that particular field. A good repore with the customer, Building confidence that they have shopped at a place they can come back to for help or advice long after the sale.
I have been a customer at MUSIC BOX for many years for these very reasons and more. Bill Stevens has been involved in the local music scene before the Beatles sang love me do.He shines in his guitar playing and knowledge of the Music Business and the whole Band experience .
Ask any one around and they will tell you Richie is an excellent Guitar teacher whose love for his Craft comes through in his playing and personality.
Atomic Tommy, well ,just ask a UFO fan, who would you like to learn from? Another teacher that loves his Craft. I have found all of the employees there helpful, friendly, pleasant to talk with, and just plain good people. The store is not over priced ! And they do strive to have a very extensive inventory of what you need.
As we have all learned (I hope) , You buy at the Big Box stores or mail order and yeah you will get a little discount on the price. But, after the sale when you need a repair or a tip on how to be better, or how to hook up with other musicans, weigh that bargin, and what you give up when you take it ! Then you will find the savings you gained don't compare to what you gave up!
PROS: It's all good
CONS: it is alway crowded
