She makes being a patient super easy
Granted, we lived overseas for about 7 years but Dr Murphy has been my dentist for about a decade. I can't say enough nice things about her staff too. My husband hates the dentist but totally doesn't mind Dr Murphy. In fact, he's in the process of having his gums deep cleaned and a filling fixed (will need 3 appointments) and doesn't even care. He said it doesn't hurt one bit.
I've been to dentists where it's fist clenching when they scrape your teeth. Like when they're done, nothing's going to be left of your teeth. I find myself totally relaxed when in Dr Murphy's chair. She did my last cleaning herself and we talked about life and even the Real Housewives of every city on Bravo. I'm not a huge fan of getting my teeth cleaned either, but I find my experience at her office about as zen as it can get.
Speaking of her office. It's really nice. She's got all the latest technology and excellent taste in interior decor. I never wait more than a few minutes either, which is one of my pet peeves. Definitely highly recommend Dr Murphy and her staff. It would be way easier for me to have a dentist in La Jolla, but I'll haul up to Del Mar in a heartbeat to see Dr Murphy.
