My appointment was for a laser treatment with a technician in Dr. Moy's office. I arrived on time. After waiting for 10 minutes, I checked with the receptionist who seemed unconcerned and told me that I would be seen in "a couple of minutes. I sat for another 10 minutes before leaving the office. When I informed the receptionist that I was leaving she said it would "only be a couple of minutes" before I was seen. I told her that I'd already waited 20 minutes and was no longer interested in their services. There are 100s of dermatologists in Los Angeles and the South Bay, and there must be at least one who respects patients' time. Clearly, Dr. Moy's office does not fall into that category.

If ever you have a questionable biopsy, Dr. Moy is the doctor for skin cancer & Moh's surgery. My normal dermatologist referred me to him for Moh's. I felt like I was in the expert's hands. 2 years later, there is no evidence whatsoever of the procedure. Double check his address, he's now working out of Torrance, not Manhattan Beach.

He attributed my rash to stress and couldn't name it. He made me come in twice and billed me 4 times as much as another doctor and still couldn't figure it out. I got a second opinion and found what it was. He may be good at injecting botox, but he doesn't know real dermatology.
