So we set resi at the last minute for 10, and still still got a table at this packed joint. Went on a Friday night where they have half off rolls. We ate our faces off with 10 guys, and plenty to drink.... we made it out under $350! Unbelievable. We had probably 5 rolls left over too. Packed house on a Friday for sure. Free entry to Club M up stairs after as well. Makes for a good night.... as long as your not there for the last hour at Club M when the ratio is more like that of a marine base, but no marines.

My friend and I are from out of town and everyone told us to eat there, so naturally we did. Our waitress asked what we wanted as soon as we sat down and I had barely looked at the menu. She also gave us one menu between my friend and I, I did not understand why we couldn't have to separate menus.

She brought us water but didn't take our order so we just ordered from the sushi chef who was much nicer then our waitress.

She basically ignored us the rest of the night, she was busy taking shots with the guy next to us at the bar. She occasssionally reached over us to fill our waters with out sayign excuse me. We asked for our bill and gave her our cards and then as we were signing them she had forgotten she ran our card and snatched the bill booklet back.

We only tipped her $2 on a $40 tab and gave the sushi chef $8 because he was the one who did all the work.

I would probably not go back there unless it was happy hour. Also make sure Alicia or Alisha is not your waitress, she is HORRBILE!

My friend I went for the $20 all you can eat sushi deal, but when we got there it was empty. We had checked the time and day online and everything and apparently so had others because people were walking by and in and nobody was there. Because of this we had to find another sushi place which was a billion times better.

I discovered Mosun after overhearing some guys at the beach say they were getting all-you-can-eat sushi for $20. My boyfriend and I have been regulars ever since. The sushi is fresh and of good quality but you can't beat the price. There are different sushi specials almost every night of the week. A few nights a week there are also drink specials. We like to sit at the sushi bar and talk to the sushi chefs. We've gone so many times they even know us by name. I've gone to Club M a few times too but if I'm driving all the way to Laguna, I'm going for the sushi. Best bets - Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday nights. No matter what night you go - ask for a Hurricane Roll.

Located in the heart of Laguna Beach, Mosun is very popular, very trendy. The crowd is always very young. They offer many different specials depending on what night of the week you go on. The sushi chefs are fun and entertaining, but the sushi is just average. At night, due to Club M upstairs, it gets very loud and crowded, sometimes a bit too loud. Best to go with a local on local's night.
