I have been going to some of the women at Moshi Moshi for haircuts since before they were at Moshi Moshi. Because of the care that the stylists I have used at Moshi Moshi put into my hair, I have no doubt that all of the other stylists use just as much care with their clients. The atmosphere in the salon is upbeat, there is never any pressure, and when you ask about potential hair styles you get honest answers. I have never had a bad haircut. If you want to be able to just walk into a salon and have the stylist copy a haircut out of a magazine, then this place is not for you....and that's a great thing, because most likely that haircut in the magazine isn't going to work with your hair anyway! If you want stylists who take the time to listen to what you are looking for, what you like and don't like, and give their opinions on what will work for you and your hair...as well as do it with no pressure at all...then this is exactly the place for you!

My boss recently had a facial from Moshi Moshi and she looked absolutely radiant for days after. I have had my hair cut and colored since it opened, but I am now tempted to visit the new esthetician on staff. I have never regretted a single cut/color. From my own experience and based on a decent amount of eavesdopping while in the chair, I have always found everyone there to be welcoming, attentive, honest and creative. One last thing, I love the selection of hard-to-find-but-worth-it products.

I have been several times for a hair cut with Mary - she is very good - I would highly recommend her! My only problem with the salon is that they really hurry you through your appointment - Mary only seemed to have 15-20 minutes alloted to cut my hair before her next appointment and she didn't have time to straighten it. I really don't fault her - I got the sense it was more of a salon policy....I'm used to a bit more TLC/time from my stylist. All that aside- great place, great people.

I made an appointment with Moshi Moshi at 7.30 tonight for a hair cut. On its appointment reminder, it says: my appointment will last until 8:00. When I was right outside of its door at 7:45, I got a call from them saying they cannot keep my appointment because I was 15 minutes late. I know being late is wrong, but as a new mom with a 3-week old baby, there's just things that out of my control. I tried to explain my situation to the girl but she did not want to hear anything I say and even lectured me:" you can't be 15 minutes late and expect us to keep your appointment!" If that's the case, why they promised to keep my appointment until 8:00????
I live really far from Moshi Moshi, choosing them simply because of my friend's recommendation about how friendly they are. Well, obviously they couldn't care less about me, and lied about keeping my appointment until 8:00.
I know their business are doing very well, but without a caring heart for their customers and a consistent policy, How good the business can be?????
Now, I just got back home after 1 hour drive, feeling really disappointed and sad.

Moshi Moshi was great. The people there are very helpful. I had an appointment with Karen. I had long, shapeless hair and I wanted to keep it long but make it look like something. She knew exactly what I wanted and gave me a great cut. I ended up with the hair style that I had been picturing in my head but wasn't sure if it would work out for me. She made it work. It's a simple style, but it frames my whole face better and I just feel prettier because of it. I also found out later that my sister always goes to Karen for her cuts, and my sister's hair is very short and much edgier and more complicated than mine, and she always has great hair styles. Karen is great and everyone at Moshi Moshi is friendly.
