What a great product made locally by great folks. I've had mine for five years and its as good as new. Now they have some great all natural sustainable beds too!

Wonderful experience at Monterey Mattress

My family and I lost our home in the recent wildfires in Big Sur, California. We came to Monterey Mattress to purchase a mattress and our expectations were more than exceeded. Brian Gingerich was extremely helpful and was able to offer us a bed at half the cost of any comparable bed on the market as part of their effort to support our community and offer fire relief. We never would have been able to afford a bed of such high quality and can't say enough about how comfortable it is. It is by far the most comfortable bed we have ever slept on. Brian also tailored a flexible payment plan to fit our needs, so that we could pay the bed off over time as we transitioned into our new living situation. 5 stars for this kind, quality and customer orientated family business. We were recommended to go to Monterey Mattress from several people in our community and would highly recommend them to anyone buying a mattress.

fantastic mattress

We needed a mattress for our motorhome. The owner, Brian, personally came out and measured for the perfect fit. He then spent a long time with us figuring out comfort, materials,etc. When we got the mattress it took us a day or two to realize that we were having less back problems and were sleeping much better. We realized after using the mattress for a few nights that this was the best mattress we have ever had. We travel frequently and used to sleep in quality hotels, and have to say that our mattress is better than any of those. We now travel in our motorhome because we sleep better. Now we want to order a mattress for our home. The mattress material is absolutely beautiful to feel and to look at, and we love it.

I purchased an electric adjustable bed in December, 1999. By human error, a part broke which prevented the bed from adjusting. I called Dale (owner), explained what happened, and he told me that he would send the correct part to me. He also very patiently and explicitely told me how to fix it. He even offered to come and fix it if I couldn't. The part came, with more written directions and Dale's phone number. There was no bill with the part. I suspect that I will not be billed. I couldn't be more pleased with this company. Dale and son Brian know how to treat their customers. From Donna in Fremont.

Great Customer Service - hard to find

I bought my Monterey Mattress about 6 months ago, because I was refered by a friend. The service was very personal, and I was given more information on foam than I could ever hope for.

There were many choices, which sort of confused me, but I appreciated the fact that they could work with me to make the bed that I needed and could afford. I had trouble finding the new showroom, because the information that I found on the website was outdated. When I arrived at the factory, they were very nice and directed me to the right location, just up the street. The parking is minimal, but once I had my bed delivered, I considered the extra time I had to take to actually find them well worth it.
