in HI-Monterey. the facilities were great, the staff as well, very friendly informative and overall helpful. didnt stay quite long enough to interact more with other guest, hope to next time. cheers ...

. Would like a locker in my room/dorm, however. Would have also liked to stay in during the evening and have a glass of wine. But no alcohol policy prevented that. I'm just being picky. Great hostel with great staff all around. ...

Good place to stay, typical HI hostel...

with lockout, cerfew, and no alcohol. If you're looking for a serious all night party go elsewhere. Found it to be an older crowd but younger folks were still coming and going. Excellent kitchen and common space, I'd stay again. ...

One of the most beautiful and comfortable...

kitchen/common room areas Ive seen! Wonderful to relax a bit after other travels! Clean and comfortable, but curfew is pretty strict at 1am, and changing doorcodes are confusing. Definitely not a party hostel but a wonderful stay nonetheless. ...
