Went in to get another loan today. They have all my information already-ck stub,bank statement etc but I had it all again in case. I confirmed that I needed a $200 loan with a pay back date of pay day 8-1-08. I verified the day I would pay it back as 8-1-08 with the Latino female rep, wrote the ck and handed her the documents. Moments later she asks "you can pay it back 7-29-08". I explained to her that I had just told her pay back 8-1-08 and wondered why she told me it was all ok for 8-1-08 pay day and taken all my documants only tell me the pay back date was going to be 7-29-08. Her respone: " I have to protect the loan" ,which of course was an expected answer. HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH MY QUESTION: WHY DID YOU NOT TELL ME THE PAYBACK DATE OF 8-1-08 WAS NOT GOOD BEFORE I HANDED YOU THE DOCUMENTS AND WROTE A CHECK. Oh, thats right. Because there was not a lot upstairs. I could see it in your eyes.

Last time I went in I called ahead to make sure I had what I needed. When I got there the new guy(wore "rep in training" tag) working alone told me he needed another document-- that he did not ask for on the phone. The time before that the new guy was working by himself and half hour to closing he tells the 4 customers in line that the computers just crashed and everyone has to come back tomorrow. I stayed and listened to his conversation with a company computer tech who told him it was fixed and ready for use. I had waited to get to the front of the line for that? If he wanted to go home on time he should have quit. The sign read open till 8pm not 730 pm.

Many many problems at this one. Must be internal. Don't say you weren't warned.

In answer to your next question: I don't work for Ace Check Cashing, Money Mart or any other pay day loan store. My job has nothing to do with pay day loan stores and I am NOT getting paid to make negative statements about Money Mart. They are doing fine at looseing customers all on their own.
