Absolutely the best apple pie in San Diego, California, North America, probably the whole world. If I'm near julian we go get one of these pies. They are something truly special made with the best ingredients and unbelievabled delicious!

Mom's pies has decent pies and friendly and efficient service, but I don't think it was anything outstanding. I would definitely recommend it over the other places there, if not for the pie, which it definitely competes, but for convenience of seating, etc. I had the rhubarb-strawberry crumb, it was good, but for me too sweet, I like to taste the rhubarb a bit more...the crust was much better than average.

Everyone knows you come to Julian for the pie! Stop by Mom's for a great slice. If the line is out the door be patient. It is worth the wait. You can even watch them make pies through the window!

Their pie is very good, but not my favorite in town. Judging by the line out the door, many prefer their pie, though. During the busy season, they run out of pie by the end of the day, sometimes before then. They have a large glass window where you can watch the pie-making process.

I took my first trip to Julian a couple months ago after hearing rave reviews about the pies made up there. Mom's Pie House does not disappoint! The apple pie was out of this world, and the berry pie was just as phenomenal. I wish it wasn't so far away because I would be eating their pies all the time!
