Don't use!! I spent hours picking up and putting away
Don't use!! I spent hours picking up and putting away everything my home, to make it very easy to clean for the maids. By the time I was done, I thought I should just go ahead and clean, I had already done the hardest part. But thought, well, I hired them, and it will be nice to have someone clean and be able to enjoy that when I get home from work. They did about 5% of what they told me they would do, and I felt they did not even do that well. They told me it looked great, and to call in and give them a good reference. When I called back to explain that the basic items they said they would do were not done. So they did a reclean. At this point, I actually moved items off the shelves, away from the walls on the floors and counters, to assist and remind them to clean those areas. I came home to the areas still not cleaned, and nothing put back. Company's excuse was that maybe their cleaning service wasn't for me, and they were more of a maintainence cleaner. My house was not that dirty or messy, and they did maintain that by doing very little. They didn't dust or vacuum well, did not move any item on any table, counter, or floor to clean under, and did not clean the items on top. The limited areas they actually did touch were about the effort of a 5 year old cleaning with a dry rag. Plus, I gained a large water stain were they left a soaking sponge on my woodwork, and a stain on my new carpet that looks like they left a wet mop on it. They didn't even move the trash can in the kitch to clean the floor, even though I left it away from the wall on both occassions. I just came home to it in the same position I had left it, and then cleaned under and around it and moved it back. I offered my vacuum because the open areas didn't look like they had been vacuumed well. There were no tracks, and there was your regular fuzz and smal items still all over the house. The areas under any throw rugs were not vacuumed at all. Not lifting a throw rung to vacuum under, and I am paying them as professional cleaners? On their reclean they still did not use my vacuum, and there was not sign that they had used any vacuum. I had listed all these things, before the reclean, and the maid checked these items off as complete. But, rugs still not lifted, tables not dusted, and the other items Molly Maid ssaid they do still were not done. I even offered that the manager come and see for himself to determine if he felt it was cleaned, but the excuse I continued to get was that they spend a total of 4 hours there over the clean and reclean days. So what? They could spend 100 hours, but if they didn't clean the basic items they promised to clean, I demanded to get my money back, or have someone come out and clean those items. I live right down the street, so I would expect it to be easy for management to come and view the work. I think this is probably normal. They also commented that the maids do not get paid hourly, so they do not come in and just sit around for 2 hours. It is possible that they just don't try to clean. I cannot say they jsut didn't do a good enough job, I have to say they did a small percentage of the job they promised, and I already paid for. The parts they did were not done well enough, even after two tries. Save yourslef the effort. Try The Maids or Merry Maids...
